Modern Aircooled


I took the 996 in for a routine check up to Modern Aircooled and asked if I could snoop around to get some photos and take in the “shop vibes”. I thoroughly enjoy the shop setting in general when it comes to capturing photos. It’s such a raw, unplanned, imperfect feel that to me feels so authentic. It’s not a thought out shoot like placing this car here or act like your staying busy; this was just as things sat while the amazing staff there was getting shit done.

I was excited to see there was a motor out of a 996 currently getting work done at the shop. I was always curious what it looked like out of the car in person, so it was very insightful to examine it up close. Big thanks to Ian (hoogen_fc) for dropping some knowledge while he was working on the motor.

Such a solid mix of unique cars at the shop which made for plenty of cool captures and stories. It didn't matter if it was air cooled, water cooled, old or new they can take care of anything. There is definitely a wealth of knowledge at the shop and the hospitality and customer service are top notch.
